Happy summer! WMFU's Beware of the Blog has many mp3s of Ice Cream Truck Music here and here. Which one goes through your neighborhood?

And, how they get that signature tinny, underwater sound.

In elementary school my friend and I came up with an idea of having an ice cream truck that sells an narrow selection of grown-up stuff -- e.g. milk, toilet paper, smokes. Wouldn't that be awesome?

that is cool... does it still only cost a dollar?

That is a great idea. Those roach wagons that deliver lunch to construction workers come close; trick one out with art and some funky ice-cream truck music and I think you could sell a lot of breakfast tacos in certain neighborhoods in Austin.

If you could legally sell beer, then you'd get rich, no doubt about it!

Thank you for the lovely sounds of ice cream.
I will play them very loud.

I love that idea. And include coffee!!!

I always wanted my own truck that I could use to buy/sell used jeans and clothing that way--park it on busy corners. Make it gypsy-wagon style--that way you could move around and pick up all kinds of cool stuff along the way.
